you are wondering where a weirdo such as myself came from?
Well, it really shouldn't surprise you to learn that I was
born and raised in a place well known for producing weirdos:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I can best be described as your average
everyman. There’s nothing inherently special about me
and I blend in to just about any crowd.
Like most others,
I live a fairly boring, average life, but at least that helped
give me the motivation to start this website. One morning,
I was sitting around bored to death because there was nothing
to do. I only had two options - watch another episode of Maury
Povich or build a website. Three paternity tests later,
the construction of GoldenLiterature.com was underway. Now
people all around the world can enjoy my writing and my life
is slightly less boring. Everybody wins.
In truth, I’ve had a passion
for both humor and writing ever since I was young. I grew
up reading the great humor magazines of the day such as MAD
Magazine and Weekly World News. I’ve always
wanted to write humor stories and articles for others to read.
However, I don’t own my own printing press and I’m
largely unwilling to go through the hassle of sending out
submissions, cover letters, and query letters, only to likely
have them rejected or not even read by editors. Therefore,
like many others before me, I’m using the power of the
internet to create my own outlet of expression.
