Hot Shower Showdown (Cold Shower Alternate Ending)

Seconds later, he had slithered out of his clothes and stepped into the tub, completely ignoring his father’s shouts.

A simple turn of the knob later, Brett received the shock of his life. The water was ice cold. He turned the hot water knob as far as it would go, but it did nothing, the water remained freezing.

Screaming in pain, Brett turned the shower off to end the torture. As he stood there shivering in agony, he began to cry. How could life be so unfair? All he wanted was to experience the sweet bliss of a hot shower for a few moments, was that so much to ask?

“That’s it, this is the last straw,” Brett thought to himself. His despair quickly grew into an angry rage. This was the tipping point. Brett was now fed up with the universe and all the wrongs it had brought upon him. It was time to make things right once and for all. It was time to…KILL!

Epilogue: Brett only managed to kill his sister Janice before his little brother Greg pushed him down the steps, where he landed on his head and fatally broke his neck. The family and surrounding community were upset for a day or two, but things quickly returned to normal because nobody really liked Janice anyway.
