The Day I Met My True Love

I'll never forget the day I met the love of my life. It was a warm April afternoon in the great city of New York. I was strolling carelessly through the fields of Central Park, when suddenly, I happened to see her sitting in the shade under a lovely oak tree. As I glanced over, my dark brown eyes met with her crystal blue eyes and I knew right then and there she was my soulmate.

I slowly approached her, a complete nervous wreck on the inside. Though I firmly believed that fate and destiny had brought us together, I still possessed a terrifying fear of rejection, but I knew I must take the chance. The mere opportunity to be with her was worth all the heartbreak in the world. Assisted by tremendous courage, the words flowed naturally out of my mouth.

“Hey, wanna fuck?”

“Yeah, sure.”

And then we did, and it was awesome. We got married the next month and have been together for over 40 years now.
